Crona didn’t hesitate as he threw open the door to the music room.  He immediately ran in and hid in the corner, as usual, unaware that there was anyone in there with him.  It wasn’t until the sound of gentle piano music reached his ears that he was informed of your presence.  You didn’t stop playing.  You NEVER stopped in the middle of a song, and you didn’t see why you should just because someone came barging in in the middle of your sonata.
    Crona buried his face deep into his knees and squeezed his eyes shut as tightly as he could.  After a moment of listening to you play, however, he felt his shoulders relax and his heartbeat return to normal.  He felt almost…calm.
“Hello there.”  Crona jumped at the closeness of your voice.  As soon as the song ended, he felt all of his anxiousness return.  He glanced up nervously and saw you standing over him with a warm smile on your face.  “What’s your name?”
“C-Crona,” he stuttered, avoiding eye-contact with you.  Your smile widened.  You had never met this boy before.  He was kind of cute.
“Crona,” you repeated.  “I see.  Well it’s nice to meet you!  My name is ______!  Are you interested in playing piano?”
Crona hesitated.  His green eyes flickered from one side to the other as he pondered your question.  He began shaking.
“I-I…I don’t know how to deal with this,” he muttered.
“How to deal with what?”  You asked with a slight frown.  “It’s not hard.  Come on, I’ll teach you!”
Before Crona could protest, you grabbed his hand and pulled him over to the large piano.  You pushed him down onto the bench and sat down beside of him.
“This is a C scale,” you explained as you walked your fingers up and down the keys.  Crona watched your hands with vague interest.  He was trembling violently because you were sitting so close to him, and quite frankly, he didn’t know how to deal with a stranger being in his comfort zone.  “Now you try it.”
Crona swallowed nervously and lighted his hands onto the keys.  His fingers stumbled down the notes as he tried to copy your former motion.  You smiled gently.
“I told you…I don’t know how to deal with things like this,” Crona said.  You could feel his disappointment as he stared at his reflection in the polished surface of the piano.  He let his hands drop to his sides.  “Can I go back to my corner now?”
You shook your head.  “Please, let me teach you.”
Crona flinched a bit as you guided his hands back onto the keys.  You began pressing them down with your own, guiding them one by one so that he wouldn’t go astray.  It actually sounded pretty good.  Crona seemed surprised, but he liked the fact that he had actually managed to make the piano play a sort of tune (even if it was just a scale).  His shaking had stopped.
“Now,” you reached into your backpack and pulled out a book of piano basics.  You had been using it to study up on your scales.  “Shall we officially begin our lesson?”

            “And that’s how much each note is worth.  Got it?”  You asked.  Crona nodded.  He had been staring at the piano the whole time, but he seemed to be paying close attention.  His eyes dared a quick glance in your direction, but immediately darted back to his hands.
“Y-Yes, Ma’am,” he replied quietly.  You smiled and closed the book.
“Good.  I think that’s enough for today.  I’ll be here tomorrow if you want another lesson.  Same time sound good?”
Crona looked up and this time managed to keep his gaze on your face.  He hadn’t noticed before, but you were actually quite attractive.  Especially when you smiled.  He felt a hot blush start to form on his cheeks.
“I-I-I REALLY don’t know how to deal with this!”  He declared as he hopped to his feet.  Your eyes widened as he bolted for the door.
“Crona?  Wait!  What did I say?”
You stood, but were too late to catch him.  Crona had already rushed out of the music room.  You sighed and sat back down on the piano bench.  “He’s a strange one…but he is cute!”
There was a slight pause as you began running your fingers up and down the piano keys.  You hesitated for a moment as someone cleared their throat from behind.
“Th-Thank you…”
“You’re very welcome,” you replied with a smile.   You didn’t look over your shoulder for fear of scaring him away.  
Crona swallowed nervously.  “S-See you tomorrow.”
