Being Happy
(Byakuya Kuchiki x Reader 2)
You hesitated at the door. It had been so long since you had been to the Kuchiki residence. Everything was exactly as you remembered it. You smiled as you remembered how often you and Byakuya had played there as children. You would drive him crazy, stealing his hair-ribbon and making him chase you to get it back. He was so easy to mess with back then…so short tempered. Things sure were different. As you pondered this, you didn’t even notice that the door had opened.
“You should really stop spacing out like that,” a smooth voice said. There was a hint of humor in it that was barely detectable. You blinked a few times and blushed as you realized that Byakuya was standing right in front of you.
“Yeah, I guess I should,” you shrugged. “But you know me. Always lost in thought…”
Byakuya nodded once. His gaze drifted to the cloak in your hands.
“Oh! Right!” You smacked yourself in the forehead and handed him his cloak. You flinched slightly as his hand brushed against yours. “I should go.”
“Would you like to come in? I was just making some tea,” Byakuya said slowly. His expression was unreadable.
“Umm…” You glanced around the yard, searching for some way out. There was none. “Yeah, okay…sure.”
The inside of the house was just like the outside; it matched perfectly to your memories. Everything, right down to the tea-set, was familiar to you. You couldn’t help but smile.
“I’ve missed this place,” you murmured. Your eyes widened slightly. You hadn’t really meant to say that out loud. That was another one of your flaws…speaking your thoughts just as they came to you. Byakuya allowed a small grin to grace his facial features.
“This is rather nostalgic,” he admitted.
Both you and Byakuya glanced over at a picture of Hisana that was hanging on the wall to your right. Her delicate face was so beautiful; her eyes were so full of happiness. Byakuya’s shoulders sunk a bit.
“You really miss her…don’t you?” You asked slowly. Byakuya nodded once. There was an awkward silence as the two of you became enveloped in your thoughts. You frowned slightly. “I think…” You stopped and bit your lip. Your fingers curled into fists. “I think…she’d want for you to be happy.”
Byakuya’s expression was just as unreadable as ever. He took a sip of his tea and sat down his cup. “Oh?”
“You never smile anymore,” you continued. “A-And I think that that would make her sad…”
You flinched slightly as the scent of cherry-blossoms permeated the air around you. Byakuya pressed his lips against your cheek and held them there for several seconds. You closed your eyes and swallowed back a lump that had formed in your throat. When he pulled away slightly, you felt him tuck a piece of stay hair behind your ear. “I think it’s time we both let ourselves be happy.”

Smile Worthy [Byakuya Kuchiki Drabble]
[Name] stood in her room with her closet doors opened wide as her [color] eyes skimmed over all of the different articles of clothing that she had hanging up. She’d been here for a good ten minutes, trying to decide what to wear. No matter what people said, she still believed that it was hard to figure out what you wanted to wear even after you got engaged to someone.
Biting her lip, she reached forward and ran her fingers over a soft blue sundress that she owned, wondering if it would be the perfect outfit for the day.
“What are you doing?” questioned a voice from behind her and [Name] blinked, turning around to look at h

Byakuya X Little Reader
“Come on ______! You gotta meet him!” Yachiru cried as she yanked you through the halls of the 6th division. “Ah! Slow down Yachiru! I’ll trip!” “You’re slow!” she giggled. You stumbled along behind Yachiru until she made it to the Captains office. She knocked on the door. “Byakushi!” there was a long pause “I know you’re in their Byakushi! Renji-san told me!”
Suddenly the door slid open to reveal a very irritated looking Kuchiki. “Byakushi, this is Lieutenant _____” his gray eyes went from Yachiru to you. Suddenly you felt weird carrying the title lieu

Training session (young Byakuya x reader)
The Sokyoku hill training ground rumbled as loud explosions echoed throughout the dusty training ground. A young Byakuya panted as he eyed the (h/c) girl with envy as she smiled her usual happy smile.
The young male sighed as he dusted the dirt of him as he wondered how many hours he had been in this place that (name)'s father built. Not to mention he wondered how the girl could perform such a high level kido, she wasn't of noble birth so why was she giving the young male such a hard time.
"Hey, why don't we take a break? It's been awhile since we last rested. You have done well against my..."gorgeous Kido" young Byakuya."
