(Loki x Reader)
(Author’s note: This is a oneshot. It has nothing to do with my Loki x Reader series.)
“You cheated.”
“No I didn’t!”
“Well I’m a god and I say you did,” Loki said. He arched one of his dark brows as if daring you to contradict him again. You sighed and began placing the glass chess pieces back on the board.
“So I’m guessing you want another rematch?” You asked flatly. Loki’s expression turned thoughtful as he pondered your suggestion, but after a moment he shook his head.
“No. I find this to be rather tedious,” he said decidedly. He arched his back against his chair and stretched. You rolled your eyes. You had been playing for hours. He was just now finding it tedious?
“No kidding…”
Loki’s emerald eyes flickered to you. “What was that?”
“Nothing.” You shrugged. You usually didn’t feel like throwing yourself into the dark void that was Loki’s bad side, but you couldn’t resist the urge to challenge his former statement. “But you’re not really a god. A prince? Yes. That I can believe. But just because your people are more advanced than…” You paused for a moment, trying to remember the correct term. “Midgardians,” you finally said with a bit of uncertainty in your voice, “doesn’t mean that you’re a deity.”
Loki’s lips twisted into an unexpected smirk. He laced his fingers together and leaned across the table.
“Oh, really?” He asked. He flexed his fingers and a gold light mingled with blue spilled onto the chessboard. Suddenly one of the pieces, the queen, moved off of her base, picked it up, and slammed it into the king. The piece shattered, sending particles of glass dust spraying across the board. You tried to suppress your amusement but ended up snorting and erupting into a fit of laughter. Loki sat back in his chair and crossed his arms over his chest. His smirk changed into a charming smile.
“That proves nothing,” you said with a slight grin. Your chest was heaving as you tried to regain your breath; your sides were stinging from the strain. You felt your face face redden as the cold skin of Loki’s hand brushed against your cheek while he attempted to tuck a piece of stray hair behind your ear.
“But it amused you,” he pointed out with a significant look. You nodded.
“That it did,” you admitted with a broad smile. Loki’s hand lingered near your jaw. His knuckles brushed against your throat.
“You’re very pretty when you smile,” he murmured, his pale cheeks tinged with pink. Your expression turned suddenly wary. “Pretty”. You really disliked that word. It was just a step away from average. Loki noticed the change in your demeanor and arched an eyebrow curiously. “That was a compliment, you know.”
“Pretty is what you call a random daisy mixed in with a bed of roses,” you scoffed, crossing your arms over your chest in a childish manner. “If you’re going to say I’m ‘pretty’ you might as well just say, ‘well, you’re not ugly’.”
Loki chuckled slightly and shook his head, letting his gaze fall to his lap. When he looked back up at you, his eyes were filled with adoration. “You know, I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so frustrating before in my whole life.”
You began tapping your right index finger against your left forearm. The prince watched you carefully, a smile still painted on his face. He couldn’t seem to get rid of it no matter how hard he tried. You exhaled irritably. “And that’s a good thing?”
Loki didn’t answer. He merely stood and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. His index finger held your chin in place so that you didn’t flinch or move. You rolled your eyes and sighed, your shoulders relaxing as his icy touch smoothed your ruffled feathers. You let out an undignified snort. “Royals…”

My Prince Pt.2 (Loki x Reader)
→→→Okay so here's part 2. :) I hope you enjoy it. There's no lemons, but there will be a slight lime scene. Nothing too bad. A bit steamy, but not too bad. Lol I'll put a warning beforehand, just incase. Also read the description at the end. :3←←←
You followed Loki to the vault room. You stood behind a tall pillar, hoping not to get caught. You observed him closely.
'What is he doing with the Casket of Ancient Winters? Was he really the one who let the Frost Gianst in like Lady Sif said?'
Ever since Thor's banishment, slight chaos broke out. Things were not going as planned.

Loki X Reader: King of Asgard (One-Shot)
You walked up to Odin looking at him worried, the war between the dark elves and the nine realms was over, you were heartbroken about Loki's death, but Thor just kept telling you he died in honor, he died bravely and he will be remembered.
You walked up to Odin in tears, "All-Father, when will Loki have his burial?" You asked looking at Odin sighing sadly.
"He will not have a burial like Frigga" Odin replied.
"Why not?! He was just as important as Frigga! Even more to me!" You shouted.
"Loki was a prisoner, his very brother let him escape, you accompanied him, Loki may have died in honor, but he will not have a burial like Frigga" Odin sa

My Prince Pt.5 (Loki x Reader)
There was a loud piercing scream from the Queen. You held on to your son as Malekith let go of him and fled the room. You clutched your son closer to your body.
"E-Espen, baby, are you okay sweetie?"
You saw the blood running down his small body.
"Momma I'm scawed." He whispered.
Losing your balance you and Espen fell to the floor with a grunt.
"Espen! (F/n)!" The Queen ran to you and Espen. She was worried beyond belief.
Nothing could be done now, it was too late. You layed on your side caressing your son's face.
The Queen cried out in horror, Malekith's dagger had hit you directly under the heart. Blood was ooz

This was inspired by the song "Royals" by Lorde. I heard it on the radio on the way home from work the other night and it made me think of Loki somehow (maybe I was just really tired LOL). I hope you all enjoy the fic I came up with! As I said in the note, it's a oneshot. I have started a Loki x Reader series, but this has NOTHING to do with it. It's just a random story that I came up with. I look forwards to reading your comments; feedback is much appreciated .
